Raggle Taggle Gypsy-O’s

Watch with sound

The Raggle Taggle Gypsy-O’s is a long-running Celtic folk ensemble led by Jordan Shapiro. Active since 2009, the band's performances feature a spirited blend of traditional Irish melodies, Celtic folk song classics, fiddle tunes, sea shanties and touches of American folk and country.

As bandleader, Jordan curates the group’s sound and repertoire, bringing together top-tier musicians to create a warm, energetic, and authentically Irish-inspired experience. The ensemble performs in flexible configurations—from duo to full 5-piece—making it easy to tailor the music for weddings, festivals, pubs, and private events of all kinds.

With almost 2 decades of steady performances behind them, The Raggle Taggle Gypsy-O’s continue to captivate audiences with lively reels, heartfelt ballads, and the unmistakable joy that defines Celtic music.

  • "We love these guys. When we decided we wanted live music at our wedding we began looking for someone who could play Celtic, Bluegrass, Folk, Pop and Klezmer music. These guys can do it all. They were very sensitive and accommodating. Learning and re-arranging specific songs to fit our theme, even going as far as collaborating with my father-in-law to sing a traditional Hebrew lullaby Dugit Nosa'at he used to sing to his children, which was completely unexpected and moved everyone there. I would recommend this band to anyone. We hope to keep in touch with them in the future and rehire them if the opportunity arises.
